Standing before the ocean with my feet in the sand I look into to water for fish and turtles. Then switch to the surface and watch the light and never-ending movement. I normally search for special shells and rounded green sea glass but this week I switched my focus to these bright bites of blues and greens. Plastic. These pieces were gathered in 3 separate 30 minute trips to Kanaha Beach.
It came together as a beautiful object. But holds the grave truth that plastic is a problem.
Adjust the lens again and you start to see lot of trash. Everywhere.
Stop standing there and ignoring it.
Proceeds will go to further beach clean up efforts and recycling awareness.
